The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Burger - just one landing.
Burger slips a straight right by Yonic.
Brazilian Burger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burger closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Yonic keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Burger is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Yonic tries to roll over but Burger keeps him under control.
Yonic has hold of Burger's hands but Burger slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Burger has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Burger is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Burger is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Yonic is just riding it out for now. Burger eventually gives up the hold.
Yonic felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Burger will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Burger drops an elbow to the side of Yonic's head.
Yonic wants to control but Burger is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Yonic is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Burger scores with a couple of nice shots.
Burger lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Yonic! More strikes land and this one is all over! Burger jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
