Kleinschmidt comes to the cage accompanied by DMX- It's hot and hell is dark. Chen Lo has chosen Welcome to the Jungle as his entrance music. Rudolf Kleinschmidt has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been informed that Chen Lo has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Chen Lo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kleinschmidt.
It looked like Kleinschmidt wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Kleinschmidt looks to land a right hand but Chen Lo moved out of range.

A little feinted left hand from Kleinschmidt on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

A quick step to the side and Kleinschmidt tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Timiko Chen Lo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Chen Lo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Kleinschmidt makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Chen Lo is still on wobbly legs! Can Kleinschmidt finish him?
A slow jab from Chen Lo misses its intended target.
Kleinschmidt swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Chen Lo seems to have recovered his senses.

Kleinschmidt steps into range and cracks Chen Lo with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Chen Lo flops backwards and Kleinschmidt dives into his guard looking to finish!
That has opened up Timiko Chen Lo's cut even more.
Kleinschmidt forces his way into half guard.

Kleinschmidt is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Chen Lo stops Kleinschmidt from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Chen Lo is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Kleinschmidt has taken his back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chen Lo is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Kleinschmidt gets his way!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kleinschmidt is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Chen Lo knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Chen Lo for a finish.
Kleinschmidt has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Chen Lo! Can he survive? No! He's out! Kleinschmidt gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

A very excited looking Rudolf Kleinschmidt rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
In defeat, Timiko Chen Lo stepped up to the mic, saying 'I want to thank Freebok for sponsoring me. Buy there the have cool stuff!!! FREEBOK!!!'.
