Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harvey Dent (ranked 2990 p4p, 414 weight class) and Daniel Coker (ranked 4769 p4p, 587 weight class). Coker is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Europe - The Final Countdown. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Daniel Coker enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harvey Dent!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Daniel Coker!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dent gets caught napping as Coker dives in and scores a takedown. Dent manages to retain guard.
Coker preventing the sweep.
Dent keeping moving, preventing Coker from controlling successfully.
Dent is looking to sweep but instead, Coker has passed into half guard.
Dent trying to control from the bottom.
Coker not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dent is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Coker wants to take a breather but Dent is having none of it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Coker prevents Dent from improving his position.
Coker tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dent knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Coker slips a nice elbow through Dent's hands, connecting with Dent's forehead.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Coker working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Dent tries to roll over but Coker keeps him under control.

Coker is thwarting Dent's attempts to control the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dent is positioning himself well to prevent Coker advancing to mount.
Coker tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dent knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Coker fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dent to the ground. Coker is now in Dent's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Coker with a flurry of punches that miss.
Dent controlling the position.
Coker is looking to stand up but Dent won't let him.
Coker trying to move into half guard but instead Dent has managed to sweep!

Coker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Coker is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dent is controlling him.
Dent content to stall in guard here.
Dent works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Dent passes to side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dent working the ground and pound.
Dent trying to control the action but Coker is working from the bottom.
Dent throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Dent moves into full mount!
Coker tries to hold on but Dent pushes him away.
Coker is trying to escape the mount.

That's five minutes gone in the round.
Dent lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Coker hang on?
Coker is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Dent lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.


It looks like Daniel Coker has been cut.
Coker is in a horrible position here. Dent smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.


Coker is rocked!
Dent postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Coker out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Dent goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Harvey Dent!
Daniel Coker was interviewed post fight and said 'I'll just like to thank BFF for giving me the chance to perform here tonight. I'll be back.'.
