The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marinyx is looking to clinch but Ramirez is avoiding it.
Marinyx lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ramirez circles away quickly and effectively.

Marinyx throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Ramirez blocks it with crossed arms.

Marinyx tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ramirez paws at him with a jab and circles away.

As Marinyx tries to get set, Ramirez tries to push him back and clinch up but Marinyx manages to avoid the attempt.

Marinyx looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Marinyx swings wildly with an uppercut but Ramirez uses good head movement to avoid it.

Ramirez is trying to pull guard but Marinyx has him pressed against the cage.
Ramirez has Marinyx pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Marinyx manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Marinyx pushes Ramirez back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Ramirez wants the takedown. Marinyx is fighting it off but Ramirez persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Marinyx's guard against the cage.

Danilo Ramirez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ramirez is pressed against the cage. Marinyx pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Ramirez! Two more big strikes from Marinyx and Ramirez crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
