Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gary Glenanagan!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Francis DeMontford and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weber throws a leg kick but Glenanagan checks it.
Weber looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Glenanagan clinches.
Weber wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Weber gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Glenanagan kicks off Weber and gets to his feet.
We've been told by Weber's head coaches at Cozad MMA Sydney that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Weber misses with a jab, cross combination.

Weber gets tackled into the cage by Glenanagan. Glenanagan maintains the clinch.
Weber has had enough of the clinch but Glenanagan keeps him there for the moment.

Glenanagan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Glenanagan shoots in for a double leg but Weber sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Glenanagan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Weber tries to keep at a distance but Glenanagan has taken the fight into the clinch.
Glenanagan effectively controlling the action here.

Glenanagan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Weber misses with a wild combination.
Glenanagan cracks the inside of Weber's front leg.
Weber takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Dillon Weber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Glenanagan throws a combination. Weber tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Glenanagan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Weber sprawls well initially but Glenanagan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Glenanagan is controlling the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Glenanagan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Weber keeps working.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Glenanagan is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Glenanagan throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Weber is not content to let Glenanagan control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Glenanagan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Weber defends well and Glenanagan ends up having to push Weber into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Dillon Weber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gary Glenanagan.
Weber misses with a low kick.

Glenanagan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Weber to the mat! Weber manages to get full guard.
Glenanagan is looking to work some ground and pound but Weber has wrist control.
Glenanagan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Weber thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Glenanagan trying to control but Weber is working from the bottom.
Glenanagan passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Glenanagan misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Glenanagan is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Weber is trying to escape and Glenanagan transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Weber is forced to tap! Nice work there by Glenanagan! Very nice indeed!
