Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Zimmerman (ranked 3308 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ludko Struja (ranked 4188 p4p, 0 weight class). Struja has chosen HIJACK - THE BADMAN IS ROBBIN as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Struja slips a jab and a cross from Zimmerman.
Zimmerman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Zimmerman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nice defenses there by Zimmerman.
Struja fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Zimmerman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Zimmerman lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Struja at a distance.
Struja has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Zimmerman misses with a body shot.
Struja walks into a jab.
It looks like Ludko Struja has been cut.
A right-left combo lands from Zimmerman.
Zimmerman throws a nice outside leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Struja misses with a hook.
Struja is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zimmerman.
An inside leg kick lands from Zimmerman.
Zimmerman moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Zimmerman throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Struja throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
An attempted straight right counter from Zimmerman misses the target.
Zimmerman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Struja.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Struja ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Jab by Zimmerman.
Zimmerman tries to bum rush Struja with a series of wild strikes but Struja uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Zimmerman moves in looking to clinch but Struja pushes him off.
Zimmerman rushes Struja and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Zimmerman blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Zimmerman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Zimmerman moves out of range as Struja strikes.
Zimmerman walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Struja checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
A punch lands to the side of Zimmerman 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Frankie Zimmerman has been cut.
Zimmerman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Struja is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Zimmerman with a body shot.
Struja throws a body shot but no joy.
Zimmerman avoids the body shot from Struja.
Zimmerman is looking for a counter combo.
Zimmerman gets caught flat footed, as Struja shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zimmerman is looking to stand back up but Struja counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Zimmerman.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Struja connects with a nice short shot to Zimmerman's temple.

Struja throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Zimmerman is looking to escape.
Zimmerman has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Struja is on him like a limpet, forcing Zimmerman back against the cage.
Zimmerman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Struja takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jab, jab by Zimmerman - just one landing.
Zimmerman is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Struja avoids the body shot from Zimmerman.
Zimmerman scores with a head kick.
Struja is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Zimmerman!
Ludko Struja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Zimmerman lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Struja falls backwards - clearly groggy! Zimmerman dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frankie Zimmerman!
During a confident post fight interview, Frankie Zimmerman thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
