Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kennith Klein (ranked 8909 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aristoteles Dupakis (ranked 5759 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aristoteles Dupakis!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dupakis drives through with a takedown into guard.

Klein might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Dupakis seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Dupakis is pushing down on Klein's leg trying to pass to half guard. Klein is fighting to maintain full guard but Dupakis has managed to sneak the leg through.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Klein manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

A nice left hand lands by Klein.
Klein jumps guard but Dupakis stands there with Klein around his waist. Klein gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Klein tries to score a body lock takedown but Dupakis shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Klein tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dupakis just stands there and leans against the cage.

It looks like Dupakis is going to stand back up.

Aristoteles Dupakis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Klein's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Klein throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dupakis's head.

Dupakis drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Klein bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dupakis's guard.

Klein is fighting to break Dupakis's control of his arms but Dupakis is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Klein would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dupakis takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Dupakis tries to improve his position but instead Klein has taken his back!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dupakis turns into Klein and is now in his guard.
Klein wants to stand and escape but Dupakis is having none of it.
Klein looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Klein is trying to hold Dupakis in close to prevent damage but Dupakis has managed to pass into half guard.
Dupakis perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Dupakis is looking for a kimura but Klein is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dupakis to get the leverage.

Klein manages to get to full guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Dupakis is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kennith Klein.
I think Dupakis has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
