Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teddy Bear (ranked 1266 p4p, 55 weight class) and Jeff Diaz (ranked 1629 p4p, 66 weight class). Jeff Diaz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Teddy Bear!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeff Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Diaz moves out of range as Bear strikes.
Diaz fails with a takedown attempt.
Bear misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Diaz.
Diaz slips a straight right by Bear.
Diaz tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Bear throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Diaz.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Diaz seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Diaz connects with a nice short shot to Bear's temple.

Diaz has control of Bear's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bear regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A very excited looking Teddy Bear rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
