Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between DBrickashaw Stevens (ranked 19173 p4p, 661 weight class) and Jakub Chlapik (ranked 3480 p4p, 378 weight class). Chlapik is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: PIPES AND PINTS / Criticized . Jakub Chlapik told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chlapik misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stevens lands with a slapping head kick.
Chlapik throws a body punch but Stevens moves out of range.
Stevens goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Chlapik swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Stevens avoids the body shot from Chlapik.
Stevens misses with a body kick.
DBrickashaw Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chlapik takes a jab right on the kisser.
Stevens fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Chlapik has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Chlapik ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Stevens throws a hook to the side of Chlapik's head but Chlapik sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Stevens has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Stark Combat Center in the buildup to the fight.
Stevens uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Chlapik.
Chlapik throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stevens sees it coming and avoids it easily.
It looked like Stevens was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Chlapik.
Stevens fails in his attempt to clinch.

Stevens forces Chlapik back against the ropes and clinches.
Stevens lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes.
Chlapik told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Chlapik is looking to break free of the clinch but Stevens has double underhooks.
Stevens misses with the head strike.
Stevens struggles to land a body shot inside as Chlapik controls his hands.
Stevens tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Stevens using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Chlapik has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Chlapik takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Chlapik creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Chlapik digs a right hand into Stevens's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Stevens's gas tank.

Chlapik pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Stevens throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Chlapik's head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Chlapik pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Stevens lands with a kick to the ribs.

A telegraphed right hand from Chlapik misses the target.
Chlapik tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stevens was well out of range. Poor timing from Chlapik.
Chlapik takes a swing at Stevens's ribcage but misses.

Stevens throws a quick counter kick to the body but Chlapik avoids it.
Chlapik takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Stevens tries to close the distance and clinch but Chlapik swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Chlapik is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Stevens doesn't manage to clinch there - Chlapik circles away.
Chlapik misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stevens throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Stevens moves out of range of the strikes.
Stevens lands with an uppercut that bounces Chlapik off the ropes and back into range.
Stevens bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Stevens lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Chlapik is rocked!
Stevens tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

A telegraphed right hand from Chlapik misses the target.
Stevens lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Chlapik is still on wobbly legs! Can Stevens finish him?
Chlapik drops his guard momentarily, allowing Stevens to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Chlapik! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Stevens takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). DBrickashaw Stevens!
A relieved looking DBrickashaw Stevens thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Jakub Chlapik was interviewed post fight and said 'HE'S ON STEROIDS! IM TELLIN YA HE IS!'.
