The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

It looks like Carmen Diaz has been cut.
Ward jabs Diaz right on the nose. Diaz blinks but takes it well.
Ward cracks Diaz with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Ward misses with a two punch combination.
Ward ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Diaz moves away.
An attempted straight right counter from Diaz misses the target.
Diaz wants to clinch but Ward slips to the side
and Ward counters with a series of strikes. Diaz will be more careful next time no doubt.

Diaz is rocked!
Ward lands a body shot.
Oh Diaz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Diaz is breathing heavily.
Diaz ducks into an uppercut from Ward and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
