Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Andrews (ranked 24231 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murat Gagiev (ranked 5460 p4p, 543 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roberto Andrews!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Murat Gagiev!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrews gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Gagiev counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Andrews could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Andrews on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Andrews walks into a stiff left hand from Gagiev.
Andrews has his takedown stuffed
and Gagiev counters with a straight right hand.
Andrews drops his hands momentarily and Gagiev takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Andrews drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
You can see the frustration on Gagiev's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Andrews tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Andrews has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Andrews creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Gagiev sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Gagiev tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Andrews wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Andrews postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Andrews stands up.
Gagiev scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Andrews on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Gagiev lands the left hand.
Andrews misses with an uppercut
and Gagiev counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gagiev scores with a hook to the body. Andrews takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A jab lands there for Gagiev.
Andrews takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Gagiev looks to land a combination. Andrews sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Gagiev lands a nice shot to the body.
Andrews throws a lazy head kick
and Gagiev counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Gagiev ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Andrews has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gagiev finds it's way round the side to connect with Andrews's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gagiev lands with a shot to the body.
Gagiev cracks Andrews with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Andrews is rocked!

Andrews is breathing heavily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Gagiev darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Oh Andrews is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Andrews gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Gagiev gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Murat Gagiev!
