Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Vee (ranked 33 p4p, 2 weight class) and Buster Napoleon (ranked 256 p4p, 25 weight class). Vee kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Da Mystery of Chessboxin by Wu-Tang Clan. Brandon Vee is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vee scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Napoleon lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Napoleon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vee manages to avoid it.

Vee bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Napoleon! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

The cut above Buster Napoleon's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Vee fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Napoleon, pushing him back against the cage.
Napoleon is trying to break the clinch but Vee is controlling him.
Vee tries to work over Napoleon's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Vee blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Vee.
Vee misses with a punch on the inside.

Napoleon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Vee uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Napoleon.
Vee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Napoleon moves away.
Vee uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Napoleon.
Vee rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Napoleon counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Vee tries to clinch up but Napoleon circles away and keeps his distance.
As Vee backs off Napoleon throws a huge counter combo but Vee manages to avoid it all.
Napoleon connects with a crisp jab.
Napoleon is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Napoleon cracks Vee with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Vee looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Napoleon finish him?
Napoleon moves out of range as Vee strikes.

That was a close round but I would say that Brandon Vee will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Napoleon and Vee are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Napoleon throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Vee into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Napoleon knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
