Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Reggie Hutchinson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 45 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Tupper V!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hutchinson throws a body shot but no joy.
Tupper V throws a leg kick

and Hutchinson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tupper V's guard.
Tupper V controls Hutchinson momentarily but Hutchinson frees himself.
Tupper V preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Hutchinson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hutchinson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Tupper V is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hutchinson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tupper V's guard.
Tupper V controls Hutchinson momentarily but Hutchinson frees himself.

Hutchinson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Hutchinson drops back looking for a leg! Tupper V is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tupper V manages to kick Hutchinson off! Hutchinson jumps back into Tupper V's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hutchinson works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Tupper V wants to get back to his feet.
Hutchinson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Tupper V stuffs the takedown attempt from Hutchinson. Hutchinson gets slowly back to his feet.
Hutchinson is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Reggie Hutchinson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tupper V lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Hutchinson tries for a takedown but Tupper V sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hutchinson.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Tupper V lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hutchinson circles away quickly and effectively.
Hutchinson shoots in looking for a takedown. Tupper V tries to sprawl out of it but Hutchinson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tupper V manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Despite the aggression on Tupper V's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Tupper V wants to stand and escape but Hutchinson is having none of it.

Hutchinson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Tupper V gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hutchinson to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Hutchinson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hutchinson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

It looks like Bobby Tupper V has been cut.

Hutchinson is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Hutchinson extends the arm and Tupper V is forced to tap!
