Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kev Wooten (ranked 1547 p4p, 189 weight class) and Pekko Wannanen (ranked 2347 p4p, 280 weight class). Wooten's entrance music is Gods gonna cut you down- Johnny Cash. A fine choice. Pekko Wannanen acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wannanen throws a shot from downtown. Wooten moves away and avoids it.
Wooten seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Wooten stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wannanen.
Wannanen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wannanen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wooten swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Wooten is looking for a counter combo.
Wannanen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Wannanen throws a body shot but no joy.
Wannanen cracks the inside of Wooten's front leg.
Some wild striking there from Wooten.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Wannanen just misses with a elbow thrown towards Wooten's brow.

Wooten wants to get back to striking at distance but Wannanen won't allow it.
Wooten has had enough of the clinch but Wannanen keeps him there for the moment.

As Wannanen looks to move away, Wooten throws a big counter combo but Wannanen just gets out of the way.
Pekko Wannanen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice straight punches there by Wannanen. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Wannanen.

A shot to the liver by Wannanen. Beautiful body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wannanen throws a sloppy head kick and Wooten moves out of range easily.
A quick step to the side and Wooten tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wannanen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wooten.

Wannanen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wooten manages to avoid it.
Wannanen moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Wooten has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Wooten there as he acknowledges the shot.
Wannanen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Wannanen ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Wannanen moves into the clinch successfully.
Wannanen softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pekko Wannanen dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Wannanen bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Wooten throws a body punch but Wannanen moves out of range.
Wooten moves forwards but Wannanen connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Wannanen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

enabling Wooten to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Pekko Wannanen has been cut.
Wannanen scores with a decent looking hook.
Wooten is rocked!
Wannanen connects with a combination that backs up Wooten into the cage. Wannanen lands a flurry of punches that gets past Wooten's guard. Wooten is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Wannanen bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
