Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fredrick Glass (ranked 21828 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomomi Tsuruta (ranked 3449 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fredrick Glass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tomomi Tsuruta!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tsuruta takes the fight into the clinch.

Tsuruta has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Glass is trying to keep an underhook but Tsuruta manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Glass knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tsuruta on the ground.

Tsuruta is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Glass is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tsuruta is nestled in close to Glass, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Glass is looking to get back to full guard here but Tsuruta has managed to pass to side control instead.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tsuruta is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Glass is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Glass looks to move to half guard but instead Tsuruta has passed into mount! Damn!

Glass tries to reverse the position but Tsuruta maintains control.

Tsuruta softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Glass is out cold! Tsuruta jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tomomi Tsuruta!
