Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Merman avoids the head kick by Macrae.
Macrae pushes Merman away with a front kick.
Merman takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Macrae tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Merman tries to clinch there but Macrae circles away.
Merman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Macrae is fending him off so far but Merman persists. Nope, Macrae circles away and we're back to standing.
Macrae rushes Merman and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Merman ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Merman no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Merman wants to stand but Macrae is controlling the position.
Macrae content to stall in guard here.
Macrae is fighting to break Merman's control of his arms but Merman is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Merman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Macrae doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Merman is tightening it up a little... Macrae has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Macrae reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Macrae taps out! Nice BJJ there by Merman!
