The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goff throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Adamou tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Goff is in Adamou's guard.

Adamou is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Adamou lands with a light punch inside.
Goff is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Adamou gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Goff is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Adamou is defending well.

Adamou changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Goff fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Adamou rushes Goff and presses him up against the cage.
Goff wants to take the fight to the mat but Adamou manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Yanni Adamou has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jared Goff.
Goff tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Adamou smiles and moves away.

Goff clinches up against the cage.

Adamou can't break the clinch.

Goff misses with a punch to the body.
Goff gets underhooks to prevent Adamou's takedown attempt.
Goff tries to pull guard but Adamou won't allow it.
Goff drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Goff is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Adamou pulls Goff into guard.
Goff really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Adamou. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Adamou pushes a forearm under Goff's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Goff is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
