Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Conrad Poohs (ranked 3254 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renzo Alves (ranked 3594 p4p, 0 weight class). Poohs comes into the arena with Dancing Teeth blaring out of the sound system. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves is trying hard to land a takedown here. Poohs sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Poohs misses with a head kick.
Alves ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Poohs moves away.
Poohs leaves Alves with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Nice uppercut lands for Alves . That snapped Poohs's head back.
Poohs stuffs the takedown.
And Poohs counters with a quick kick to the body but Alves blocks it.
Conrad Poohs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Renzo Alves .
Alves shoots in for a double leg but Poohs sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Poohs throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Poohs connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
We've been hearing reports that Poohs has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Poohs misses the jab.
Alves shoots in but no luck this time.
Poohs throwing a counter right hand but Alves manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big left from Alves misses.
Poohs fires out a quick counter leg kick but Alves just manages to avoid it.
Poohs moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

It looks like Renzo Alves has been cut.

Poohs lands a big head kick that sends Alves tumbling to the mat! Poohs takes a step backwards and waves Alves back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Alves is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Poohs counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
