Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zarko Zidane (ranked 1646 p4p, 208 weight class) and William Ralph Dean (ranked 675 p4p, 83 weight class). Zidane kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sharp Dressed Man. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zidane drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Zidane slips under a jab.
Zidane changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Zidane shoots in looking for a takedown. Dean tries to sprawl out of it but Zidane keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dean manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dean is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zidane.
Dean clinches.
A right hook to the body lands for Dean.

Dean is pressed up against the cage. Zidane has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dean down to the mat. Dean avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dean lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Zidane or not.
Dean lands a shot to the body.
Zidane is breathing heavily.
Dean lands with a right to the head.
Dean makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Dean clinches with his opponent.
Zidane has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dean after a bit of a struggle.

Dean lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Zidane is trying to drag Dean to the mat but Dean just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Dean lands an uppercut.
Dean's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dean scores with a nice right hand.
Dean lands with an overhand left.
Dean jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Zidane is rocked!
Dean fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Zidane square on the jaw! Damn, Zidane is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
