The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
God avoids a kick to the body.
God steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Adamou.
Adamou fails with a takedown attempt.
Adamou takes one on the chin but seems OK.

It looks like Yanni Adamou has been cut.
God looks to score with a jab to the body but Adamou is just out of range.
As God tries to get set, Adamou tries to push him back and clinch up but God manages to avoid the attempt.
God throws a shot to the body.
God doesn't manage to clinch there - Adamou circles away.

Adamou shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. God manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if God can do anything to dispel that myth.
God avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Adamou is pushing down on God's leg trying to pass to half guard. God is fighting to maintain full guard but Adamou has managed to sneak the leg through.
God really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Adamou. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
