The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Schweidler throws a counter high kick but Pentacost was just alert enough to avoid it.
Schweidler connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Schweidler fails to land with a series of punches.
Schweidler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pentacost moves away.

Schweidler has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Pentacost.
Pentacost fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Schweidler throws a sloppy head kick and Pentacost moves out of range easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Schweidler tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Pentacost manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Pentacost tries to land a knee to the head but Schweidler blocks with his arms.
Schweidler pushes Pentacost back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Schweidler lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Pentacost blocks a body shot from Schweidler.
Schweidler tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Pentacost blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Pentacost lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Schweidler backwards.
Schweidler tries to break the clinch but Pentacost is controlling the position.

Schweidler is trying to push Pentacost away but Pentacost has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Schweidler has a couple of punches blocked by Pentacost.

Schweidler throws a nice looking combination but Pentacost bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Schweidler throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Schweidler takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Schweidler is breathing heavily.

Pentacost lands a jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pentacost throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Schweidler stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Pentacost avoids the head kick by Schweidler.
Pentacost keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Schweidler tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pentacost was well out of range. Poor timing from Schweidler.
Pentacost let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Schweidler takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Schweidler misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A left and a right from Pentacost both land. Nice combination.
Pentacost lands a body shot.
Pentacost dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Pentacost lands a big head kick that sends Schweidler tumbling to the mat! Pentacost takes a step backwards and waves Schweidler back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Schweidler is rocked!


Rene Schweidler's cut is getting worse.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Schweidler throws a series of punches but Pentacost avoids them all with ease.
Schweidler throws a big shot that misses.
Pentacost lets loose with a powerful body kick. Schweidler will feel that in the morning.
Pentacost scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Pentacost connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Schweidler misses with a hook. Pentacost ducked under it nicely.
Pentacost slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Stacker Pentacost seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Pentacost thuds a left hand into Schweidler's body.
Schweidler takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Schweidler rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Pentacost counters with a nice right hand that sends Schweidler toppling to the canvas! Schweidler scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Pentacost finish him?!
Oh Schweidler is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pentacost cracks Schweidler's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Schweidler slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Pentacost can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Stacker Pentacost!
After winning the bout, Stacker Pentacost thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Rene Schweidler was interviewed post fight and said 'I want to thank Freebok for sponsoring me. Buy there the have cool stuff!!! FREEBOK!!!'.
