Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Thomm (ranked 4433 p4p, 560 weight class) and Andros Adelaide (ranked 6203 p4p, 672 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tom Thomm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Andros Adelaide!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Dirk Anderson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomm shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Adelaide pinned against the cage. Adelaide gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Adelaide throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Thomm feinted with a counter takedown.
Thomm seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Adelaide misses with a low kick.
Thomm changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Thomm gets a double leg takedown into Adelaide's guard.
Adelaide really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thomm. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Thomm stays in close to Adelaide's body and controls the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Thomm postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Thomm stands and throws Adelaide's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Thomm cracks Adelaide with a big right hand but Adelaide just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Thomm misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Thomm controls the position.
Thomm creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Adelaide sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Thomm tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Thomm has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Adelaide tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Adelaide is working to avoid the ground and pound but Thomm connects with a decent elbow.
Thomm tries to move into full mount but can't pass Adelaide's legs.
Thomm is looking to take a break and control but Adelaide is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Thomm has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Adelaide is squirming around, avoiding Thomm's attempts to control the action.

Thomm throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Adelaide because Thomm loaded up on that one.
Thomm misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Thomm has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Thomm fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Adelaide is rocked!
Thomm postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Adelaide badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Thomm around the waist but Thomm pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Thomm is the winner by TKO! Thomm jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tom Thomm!
After winning the bout, Tom Thomm thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
