Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zadey Mo (ranked 7997 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Ward (ranked 4694 p4p, 437 weight class). Zadey Mo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zadey Mo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Ward!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ward to score with a decent uppercut.
A cross from Ward lands.
It looks like Zadey Mo has been cut.
Mo looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Ward throws a good cross that connects.
Mo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Mo misses the shot to the body.
Ward scores with a hook.
Ward bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mo's head backwards.
Mo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ward's waist but Ward gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mo off to one side.
A jab from Ward finds it's way through Mo's defenses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mo drops back looking for a leg! Ward is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ward manages to kick Mo off! Mo jumps back into Ward's guard.
Ward is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Mo tries to free his leg and advance position but Ward is retaining full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mo drops back looking for a leg! Ward is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ward manages to kick Mo off! Mo jumps back into Ward's guard.
Ward is working an open guard so Mo takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Nice jab there from Ward.
Ward has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Mo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Ward throws a shot from downtown. Mo moves away and avoids it.
Ward paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ward throws a big shot that misses.
Mo looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Mo on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Ward stuffs the takedown.

Mo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zadey Mo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ward jabs Mo right on the nose. Mo blinks but takes it well.
Mo walks into a straight right hand from Ward.

Ward cracks Mo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Mo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ward really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mo tries for a kimura but Ward is defending well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ward can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mo wants to control but Ward is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ward tries to sprawl but Mo drives through with a takedown into half guard.
