Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lazy Bastard (ranked 2267 p4p, 267 weight class) and Randall Jackson (ranked 4598 p4p, 485 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jackson's choice of entrance music: Waiting around to die?. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Lazy Bastard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bastard stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jackson connects with a nice short shot to Bastard's temple.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bastard throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Jackson to counter with a crisp jab.
Jackson lands a nice hook to Bastard's body. Bastard takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Bastard shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jackson eats them both and turns towards Bastard to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Jackson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bastard connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jackson scrambles back to his feet.
