Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Avraham Avinu (ranked 5505 p4p, 557 weight class) and Yanni Adamou (ranked 7392 p4p, 631 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Avraham Avinu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Yanni Adamou!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Chad Campbell and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adamou gets caught napping as Avinu dives in and scores a takedown. Adamou manages to retain guard.
Avinu scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Adamou manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Avinu manages to get himself to full guard.
Avinu manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Avinu is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Avinu gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Adamou.
Adamou is trying to break free.
Avinu gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ground and pound from Avinu.

Adamou wants to get back to full guard but Avinu has mounted him!
Avinu prevents Adamou from getting the reversal.
Avinu lands with some strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adamou in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Avinu punishing his opponent with strikes.
Adamou is rocked!
Avinu postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Adamou badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Avinu around the waist but Avinu pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Avinu is the winner by TKO! Avinu jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Avraham Avinu!
