Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hector Camacho (ranked 222 p4p, 35 weight class) and Axl Rose (ranked 597 p4p, 71 weight class). Rose has chosen You Could Be Mine as his entrance music. Axl Rose struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camacho fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rose throws an overhand right that lands on Camacho's shoulder, as Camacho tries to avoid the shot.
Rose has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

It looked like Camacho was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Rose is pushing Camacho up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Rose creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Rose escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Rose takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hector Camacho will probably get the nod.
