Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mario Farina (ranked 594 p4p, 62 weight class) and Benny Alison (ranked 883 p4p, 100 weight class). Farina comes into the arena with Combichrist - Today I Woke to the Rain of Blood blaring out of the sound system. Alison has chosen The Greatest (I am) as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Benny Alison!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alison swings away with a body shot that misses
and Farina connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Farina bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Alison throws a poor cross that misses
and Farina counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Alison swings for the body but Farina moves out of range.
Benny Alison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Farina scores with the left hand. Alison knows he should have avoided that one.
Farina takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Alison takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Alison throws a sloppy body shot
and Farina cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Alison misses with a jab to the body
and Farina counters with a nice body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A jab from Farina finds it's way through Alison's defenses.
Farina connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Alison misses with a left hand
and Farina counters with a big right hand! Oh Alison is in trouble here! Farina follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mario Farina!

Mario Farina seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
In defeat, Benny Alison stepped up to the mic, saying 'Mario, what a fucking tool. I thought he would bathe prior to the fight, he got me fooled there. Smelt like a 2 week old italian sausage in the back of the fridge. I had to get away from that smelly mook.'.
