The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willy scores with a jab. Reed acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Nice sprawl there from Willy as Reed shoots in.
Reed throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Willy's waist but Willy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Reed off to one side.
Reed shoots in for a takedown but Willy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Samus Reed. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Willy is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Willy throws a shot from downtown. Reed moves away and avoids it.
Reed goes for a double leg but Willy avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Willy continues to drive forward.

Reed trying to stall but Willy improves his position.
Reed seems to have got his legs back now.

Reed is trying to pull guard but Willy has him pressed against the cage.

Willy lands a hook that snaps the head of Reed backwards.

Willy lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Willy lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Willy creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Reed's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Reed drops to his knees and Willy pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
