PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Semmy Cobb (ranked 630 p4p, 64 weight class) and Carlos Ruas (ranked 882 p4p, 95 weight class). Cobb comes into the arena with You dropped the Bomb on me blaring out of the sound system. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ruas shoots in looking for a takedown. Cobb tries to sprawl out of it but Ruas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cobb manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Carlos Ruas's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Cobb uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ruas has time to react.

A very excited looking Semmy Cobb rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
The defeated Carlos Ruas had this to say: 'No one likes seeing their opponent's hand raised, but that just means that they were the better man today. My team at 3Band MMA and I will break down this match and make the proper changes for my next camp.'.
