The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazzyie shoots for a takedown but Weinstein saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Weinstein's corner calls for a 1-2. Weinstein obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Lazzyie tries for a takedown but Weinstein circles away easily
and Weinstein counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Alfie Lazzyie has been cut.
Lazzyie shoots in for a takedown but Weinstein shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alfie Lazzyie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Weinstein connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Horrible takedown attempt by Lazzyie or perhaps it was just good defense by Weinstein, which made it look bad.
Weinstein appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lazzyie shoots in for a takedown but Weinstein shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Weinstein feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lazzyie sprawling to the canvas! Lazzyie rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Weinstein finish him?!
Weinstein lands a nice looking body kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lazzyie takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Weinstein sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Lazzyie's defenses. It connects perfectly with Lazzyie's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
