Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zedidiah Goldberg (ranked 2704 p4p, 318 weight class) and Apollo Reid (ranked 2473 p4p, 295 weight class). Goldberg's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, A Warrior's Call. Reid has chosen Living in America by James Brown as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Apollo Reid is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zedidiah Goldberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Apollo Reid!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Donatello Bradman and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid throws out a loose jab but Goldberg uses good head movement to avoid it.
Reid lands a high kick!
Reid takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Reid throws a predictable looking body shot
and Goldberg counters with a straight right hand.
No joy there for Reid, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Goldberg keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Goldberg scores with a one two! Reid had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Goldberg drops Reid with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Reid looks back up at him and smiles so Goldberg waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Reid is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Goldberg fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Reid square on the jaw! Damn, Reid is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Zedidiah Goldberg!
Zedidiah Goldberg bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
