Hogan comes to the cage accompanied by Real American. Hulk Hogan has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hulk Hogan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jason Imbert!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogan fails with a takedown attempt.
Imbert doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Imbert scores with a jab. Hogan acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Imbert throws an overhand right that lands on Hogan's shoulder, as Hogan tries to avoid the shot.
Hogan shoots in for a takedown but Imbert shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Imbert! But no joy.
Hulk Hogan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Imbert uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hogan has time to react.


It looks like Hulk Hogan has been cut.
Imbert slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Imbert catches Hogan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Hogan tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Imbert counters with a nice uppercut.
Hogan has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Imbert finds it's way round the side to connect with Hogan's head.
Hogan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Imbert defends well and Hogan ends up having to push Imbert into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hulk Hogan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Imbert connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


Hulk Hogan's cut is getting worse.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Imbert fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Imbert takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.


Hulk Hogan's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Nice jab there from Imbert.


Hogan is rocked!
Hogan leaves his chin hanging out and Imbert seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Hogan crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jason Imbert!
Hulk Hogan was interviewed post fight and said 'Good going, brother!'.
