Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gustav Rinaldi!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ranger has Rinaldi up against the cage in a clinch.
Ranger lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rinaldi backwards.
Ranger throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
We've been informed that Rinaldi has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Ranger has Rinaldi pushed against the cage.

Ranger manages to break the clinch.

Rinaldi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Rinaldi prevents Ranger from standing back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ranger tries to roll over but Rinaldi keeps him under control.
Ranger is looking to get back to is feet but Rinaldi passes into side control.
Ranger is looking to get back to his feet here but Rinaldi is keeping cool and he's managed to take Ranger's back.

Ranger lands a body shot.

Rinaldi prevents a takedown attempt there.

Ranger is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Ranger breaks from the clinch.

Ranger closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Rinaldi quickly recovers to half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ranger throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Ranger scoring with strikes to the body and head.

Ranger is nestled in close to Rinaldi, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Ranger drops an elbow to the side of Rinaldi's head.

Ranger stands up from half guard.
Ranger doesn't manage to clinch there - Rinaldi circles away.
Ranger lands a two punch combo.
Ranger lands with a slapping head kick.

Ranger moves into the clinch.
Ranger scores with a nice hook to the head.
I was talking to Ranger's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Ranger crunches a lovely knee into Rinaldi's ribcage.
Ranger lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Rinaldi takes a knee right on the jaw!


Rinaldi is rocked!
Ranger pushes Rinaldi against the cage. Ranger is working some dirty boxing. Ranger pushes off with a quick right hook! Rinaldi goes down! Rinaldi tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Ranger moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Walker Ranger!
Walker Ranger took some time post fight to say the following; 'Texas is the best and that's what im here to prove'.
