Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tayyab Gaines (ranked 5732 p4p, 183 weight class) and Jack Xiao (ranked 25328 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jack Xiao!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xiao fails with an attempt to clinch.
Xiao tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gaines sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Xiao somewhat.
Gaines tries to counter by clinching up but Xiao breaks away and moves out of range.
Gaines lands with a straight right. Xiao didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Jack Xiao has been cut.
Xiao doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Gaines counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gaines misses with a series of wild punches.
Gaines lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Xiao circles away quickly and effectively.
Xiao steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Gaines.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gaines works the jab nicely.
Xiao takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Xiao.
Tayyab Gaines has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Xiao.
Xiao tries for a takedown but Gaines circles away easily
and Gaines scores with a counter punch that sends Xiao to the canvas! Gaines smells blood - he's punishing Xiao with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Xiao has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
