Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kay Ector (ranked 1581 p4p, 197 weight class) and Brandon Stark (ranked 1216 p4p, 152 weight class). Ector's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Monster!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ector blocks a jab.

Stark gets tackled into the cage by Ector. Ector maintains the clinch.

Stark is trying to trip Ector. He has hold of a leg but Ector is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Stark persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Kay Ector will probably get the nod.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ector loads up on a big right hand but Stark slips the punch.
Stark throws a leg kick but Ector sees it coming and moves out of range.
Stark takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Stark shoots in looking for a takedown but Ector manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stark's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
It looked like Ector wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Stark closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ector's guard.

Stark jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ector walks away with a smile on his face. Stark gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Stark darts in looking for a takedown but Ector gets double underhooks and turns Stark into the cage.
Ector tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stark paws at him with a jab and circles away.
