Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Nguyen (ranked 5861 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riley Chapman (ranked 4870 p4p, 0 weight class). Riley Chapman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chapman shoots in and gets a takedown into Nguyen's guard.
Chapman is standing up over Nguyen. Nguyen looks to escape but Chapman dives into side control.

Nguyen is letting Chapman control him for a moment.
Nguyen dodges the ground and pound from Chapman .
Nguyen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Nguyen manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Nguyen is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Chapman scores with a couple of nice shots.

Chapman is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Chapman is figuring out what he wants to do next.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Let's hope that Chapman has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Chapman is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nguyen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Chapman .

Nguyen has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Chapman escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Chapman !
Nguyen is trying to get back to half guard.
Chapman just content to control the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Nguyen wants to control but Chapman postures up.
Nguyen tries to get back to half guard but can't.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Chapman gets a double leg takedown into Nguyen's guard.
Chapman stopping the sweep attempt from Nguyen.
Nguyen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Chapman distracts Nguyen with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Chapman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Chapman throws an elbow that misses. Nguyen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Chapman 's guard. Nice move by Nguyen!

Chapman manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Chapman wants the takedown. Nguyen is fighting it off but Chapman persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Nguyen's guard against the cage.
Nguyen is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Chapman dives into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Chapman decides to take the fight back to the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Nguyen enables Chapman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nguyen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Chapman is in close to Nguyen's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Chapman decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Trevor Nguyen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Chapman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nguyen throws a big counter combination but Chapman scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Chapman clinches up against the cage.
Nguyen fails to pull the fight into his guard.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Nguyen.

Chapman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Nguyen tries to keep at a distance but Chapman has taken the fight into the clinch.
Nguyen jumps guard but Chapman turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Nguyen can't get the takedown.

Chapman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Chapman shoots in and bounces Nguyen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Nguyen is looking to stand back up but Chapman counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Nguyen.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Chapman decides to stand up.
Nguyen seems to have got his legs back now.

Chapman has Nguyen up against the cage in a clinch.
Nguyen is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Nguyen tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Chapman gets a trip takedown into half guard.

Nguyen kicks Chapman off and gets back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chapman scores with a body shot.

Chapman dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Nguyen has had enough and taps out.
