Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jan Pope!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Tusing Pocc!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pocc shoots in looking for a takedown. Pope tries to sprawl out of it but Pocc keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pope manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Pope comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Pope ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Pocc fails with a takedown attempt.
Pope cracks Pocc with an open hand slap.
Pocc shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pope sprawls well. Pope wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pocc gets slowly back to his feet.
Jan Pope has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tusing Pocc.

Pocc scores with a takedown into Pope's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pocc won't allow Pope to sweep him here.
Pocc postures up in Pope's guard and throws a big left but Pope blocks it.
Pope doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Pocc trying to control but Pope is working from the bottom.
Pocc distracts Pope with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Pope throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Pope is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Pope trying to keep a closed guard but Pocc is proving a slippery customer.
Pope looking for a sweep. Not yet Pope, not yet.
Pope has momentary wrist control but Pocc slips an elbow through the middle.
Pocc with a flurry of punches that miss.
Pocc looking to pass the guard.
Pocc prevents Pope from getting back to his feet.

Pocc with a nice head shot there.
Pope is trying to control the position but Pocc postures up.
Pocc is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Pocc is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Pope is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Pope has escaped and now he's on top!

Pope trying to control the position from guard on top but Pocc is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Pocc working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pope doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Pocc is tightening it up a little... Pope has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Pope reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Pope taps out! Nice BJJ there by Pocc!
