Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Samuel Kain!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kain shoots in looking for a takedown. Winter tries to sprawl out of it but Kain keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Winter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Winter closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Kain manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kain is working for a submission of some sort.
Winter is trying to stand.

Winter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kain is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Kain shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

Winter seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Winter is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Kain is hurt! He's hurt bad - Winter fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Kain from any more punishment! Congratulations to Winter! Great finish!
