Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael Davies (ranked 24545 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Taylor (ranked 3493 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor has chosen WCnoBEAT - Meu Mundo as his entrance music. Michael Davies looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davies takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Taylor darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Taylor lands with an overhand left.
Nice body punch from Taylor.
Davies takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Taylor fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Davies is breathing heavily.
Taylor fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Davies, pushing him back against the cage.
Taylor presses Davies against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Taylor is leaning against Davies and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Taylor lands a shoulder strike.

A left hand lands to the body for Taylor.
Taylor stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Taylor goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Taylor ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Taylor lands a nice looking body shot.
Davies takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Davies takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Taylor scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Davies doesn't seem bothered though.
Taylor connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Oh Davies is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Taylor scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Davies doesn't seem bothered though.
Taylor is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Davies rather than just go for the knockout.

Taylor has Davies up against the cage in a clinch.
Davies seems to have got his legs back now.
Taylor gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Davies regains guard.
Taylor chips away with some ground and pound.
Taylor is working Davies over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Taylor loads up on a big left hand. Davies felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Taylor looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Davies can't hide his disappointment, as Taylor celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Glen Taylor!
A relieved looking Glen Taylor thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
