The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Taylor lands with a hook. Gibson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

It looks like Cristobal Gibson has been cut.
Taylor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Taylor looks to throw the jab but Gibson is out of range.
Tommy Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Taylor is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gibson.
Gibson checks a leg kick.
Gibson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Taylor's waist but Taylor gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gibson off to one side.
Gibson takes one to the side of the head.

Gibson is rocked!
Taylor fakes the body blow, causing Gibson to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Gibson goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
