The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rahman avoids the head kick by McTavish.
Rahman is looking to counter punch.

and McTavish counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by McTavish.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McTavish throwing strikes but missing.

Rahman is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Rahman stalls.
Rahman lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

It looks like Hamish McTavish has been cut.
McTavish has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Rahman after a bit of a struggle.
Rahman lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McTavish is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Rahman is defending well.
McTavish jumps guard but Rahman stands there with McTavish around his waist. McTavish gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Mujibur Rahman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hamish McTavish.
McTavish is trying to pull guard but Rahman turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

McTavish tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rahman smiles and moves away.
Rahman cracks McTavish with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

That has opened up Hamish McTavish's cut even more.

McTavish swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Rahman rattles McTavish with a well-timed uppercut counter. - McTavish tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Rahman dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving McTavish stiff and motionless on the mat!
