The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cutter.
Cookie Cutter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cutter tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bell smiles and moves away.

Cutter closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bell's guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Bell manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Cutter is breathing heavily.

Bell lands with a nice combination. Cutter backs away looking to recover.

Bell tries to bum rush Cutter with a series of wild strikes but Cutter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
We've been informed that Bell has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Some bone on bone action there as Bell checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bell stalks Cutter and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Cutter's face. Cutter staggers backwards, shaken.
Bell throws a right hand that Cutter ducks under and follows up with a left that Cutter also avoids with ease.
Cutter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bell manages to avoid it.
Cutter misses with an uppercut. Bell saw that one coming.

Bell gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Cutter manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bell on his heels. He'll look to pass Bell's guard now, I'm sure.

Bell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cutter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cutter is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bell is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Cutter works to advance to full mount. Bell defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Bell is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Cutter has control of Bell's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bell regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Cutter has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Bell! Can he survive? No! He's out! Cutter gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
