PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zorba The Dancing Buddha (ranked 1193 p4p, 191 weight class) and Trent Punchy (ranked 2857 p4p, 390 weight class). The Dancing Buddha kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Zorba Time. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

With a record of 31 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trent Punchy!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punchy misses with an uppercut.

Punchy manages to get an easy takedown there - catching The Dancing Buddha on his heels. He'll look to pass The Dancing Buddha's guard now, I'm sure.

Punchy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and The Dancing Buddha defends well.

Punchy has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. The Dancing Buddha is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Punchy.
