The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Donatello Bradman and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sitsongrit is looking to chop away at De Barros's legs.
De Barros is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
De Barros closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sitsongrit to the mat! Sitsongrit manages to get full guard.
De Barros scoring with punches to the head and body.
De Barros passes easily into side control. Nice work.
De Barros has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
De Barros is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sitsongrit knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
De Barros wants to control but Sitsongrit is keeping him busy.
De Barros thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Sitsongrit takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
De Barros has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Sitsongrit stops De Barros from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Sitsongrit knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for De Barros on the ground.
De Barros jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Sitsongrit manages to avoid the submission attempt.
De Barros is trying to get an arm triangle but Sitsongrit is defending well.
De Barros has an Americana. Sitsongrit didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! De Barros is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if De Barros hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
