Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tristan Farsight (ranked 3375 p4p, 469 weight class) and Mike Mikson (ranked 4935 p4p, 617 weight class). Tristan Farsight could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mike Mikson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mikson fails with a takedown attempt.
Farsight lands a jab.
Farsight throws a quick inside leg kick.

Mikson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Farsight was covering up waiting for the punch and Mikson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Mikson wants to control from the top but Farsight keeps moving.
Mikson is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mikson drops back looking for a leg! Farsight is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Farsight manages to kick Mikson off! Mikson jumps back into Farsight's guard.
Mikson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Farsight is trying to control the position but Mikson postures up.
Farsight knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mikson on the ground.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Mikson is looking to take a break and control but Farsight is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Mikson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Farsight is just riding it out for now. Mikson eventually gives up the hold.
Farsight wants to get back to full guard but Mikson has passed into side control.
