Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thor Ragardo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Franco Dillveux!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ragardo lands an overhand right.
Dillveux on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Ragardo closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dillveux's guard.
Ragardo wants to stand and escape but instead Dillveux has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Dillveux wants to pass the guard but Ragardo is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dillveux prevents Ragardo from getting back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dillveux trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dillveux trying to control but Ragardo is working from the bottom.
Dillveux looking to pass the guard.
Ragardo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dillveux is controlling him.
Dillveux throws a big elbow that misses.
Dillveux connects with a couple of short punches.
Dillveux controlling from the top position.
Ragardo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ragardo tries to get out of the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ragardo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ragardo throws a sloppy head kick and Dillveux moves out of range easily.
Ragardo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Oooooh!!! Ragardo has knocked Dillveux down with a huge combo! Ragardo steps away and waves a wobbly Dillveux back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


It looks like Franco Dillveux has been cut.

Ragardo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ragardo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!


Dillveux is rocked!

Ragardo stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Dillveux is still on wobbly legs! Can Ragardo finish him?
Ragardo sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Dillveux's defenses. It connects perfectly with Dillveux's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Thor Ragardo!
A victorious Thor Ragardo thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
