The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lock is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gonawyn.
Lock swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Gonawyn counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Lock is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Gonawyn dives into side control.

Gonawyn advances nicely into full mount.
Lock is working to get back to half guard.
Lock keeps trying to improve his position.
Gonawyn will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Gonawyn is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lock can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Gonawyn fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

It looks like Quantum Lock has been cut.
Gonawyn breaks from Lock's wrist control and lands an elbow.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Quantum Lock's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

During a confident post fight interview, King Gonawyn thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
