Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henry Trowning (ranked 1640 p4p, 148 weight class) and Slim Sylvia (ranked 1459 p4p, 137 weight class). Trowning comes to the cage accompanied by Shotgun - backyard brawl. Sylvia has chosen Some Country Shit as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sylvia throws a hook but Trowning blocks it.
Trowning tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Sylvia cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Trowning keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

It looks like Slim Sylvia has been cut.
Trowning throws a lazy right hand but Sylvia sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Trowning checks a leg kick.
Sylvia throws the left hand but Trowning avoids the punch easily.
Slim Sylvia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A solid leg kick lands there for Sylvia.
Trowning misses with a straight left.
Nice defenses there by Trowning.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sylvia has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sylvia throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Trowning stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

We've been told by Trowning's head coaches at Dark Corner that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Trowning sends Sylvia crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Trowning is motioning to the referee to let Sylvia up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
