PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Roy (ranked 5904 p4p, 0 weight class) and Markus Saenchai Janssen (ranked 5510 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Paul Roy has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Paul Roy seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roy swats away the attempt to clinch by Janssen.

Janssen has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Roy has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Janssen can't find room to land a body shot as Roy controls the action.

Janssen turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Janssen manages to end up in side control.
Janssen wants to stand but Roy is controlling his arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Janssen clinches up against the cage.
Roy is pressed up against the cage. Janssen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Roy down to the mat. Roy avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Janssen tries to clinch up but Roy circles away and keeps his distance.

Janssen lands a big head kick that sends Roy tumbling to the mat! Janssen takes a step backwards and waves Roy back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Janssen has managed to clinch.
Oh Roy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Janssen is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Janssen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Roy seems to have got his legs back now.
Janssen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Roy tries to score with a low kick but Janssen moves his leg out of the way.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Roy feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Janssens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Janssen lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Roy crumples to the floor! Janssen milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
