Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dante Datsik (ranked 3172 p4p, 345 weight class) and Noob Saibot (ranked 3798 p4p, 387 weight class). Saibot is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by New York. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saibot takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
A head kick misses from Saibot.
Saibot tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Datsik was well out of range. Poor timing from Saibot.

Saibot changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Datsik looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Datsik is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at The Takeover that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

It looks like Noob Saibot has been cut.

Datsik dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Saibot misses with a hook. Datsik ducked under it nicely.

Saibot looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Saibot backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Datsik's temple! It sends Datsik violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Saibot celebrates and the doctors try to help Datsik!
